When Lionel Messi was asked about the possibility of him leaving Barcelona, it doesn’t come as a surprise to know that the Argentine superstar stated that he does not have any plans of exiting the club which he joined during his youth and has gone on to become the most influential player in the history of the Spanish club.
PSG and Manchester City were being linked with Lionel Messi as those are a few of the only clubs that have enough cash to splash around to sign a player in the caliber of Messi but the Argentine dismissed all those rumors as he said that he will probably never leave Barcelona until the day for him to retire arrives and only in his retirement, he might make his way out of the Spanish club as he has plans of retiring in Argentina.
“I am never going to play for another European club, but I would like to try Argentine football.I am sure what I want and what I want is to stay at Barça.However, it's possible I could end my career in Argentina. Anything could happen in the future, but I want to stay here." Barcelona’s star Lionel Messi said.
“I feel much better than I did in the last two years. In 2013 and 2014 I had various injuries and I wasn’t at full power. Now I feel back on top. I think I’ve found the level I was showing three of four years ago.”
The president of Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu indicated that he will try to keep hold of Lionel Messi for as long as he can but if the Argentine wonder-boy wants to retire somewhere else then there is nothing he can to stop the 5 times Ballon d’Or winner as he is free to do whatever he wants when his contract expires.
