Louis Saha has backed Martial and Rashford to succeed at Manchester United

Former Manchester United forward Louis Saha has backed forward Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford to succeed with Red Devils.

Louis Saha believes that Marcus Rashford possesses the necessary qualities to succeed at the highest level. His two goals against Midtjyllandwere important for Manchester United since they were struggling at this time. He believes that Marcus Rashford will develop quickly and become one of the most successful academy players to make it for the Red Devils.

The former French international player also praises Anthony Martial debut season with Manchester United. He has even compared the French player to Cristiano Ronaldo and hope that he will be able to emulate the great Portuguese striker.

According to Saha, Martial has some common points with Ronaldo. They both joined Manchester United at the age of 18, and both of them possess the same obsession with football. He believes that Martial has the necessary abilities and skills to make it to the highest level but just as Ronaldo, he will have to keep learning and listening to the manager to improve himself.

Martial has so far made 39 appearances for the Red Devils and has scored 12 goals. He has benefited from the absence of Rooney to establish himself as the main attacking option of Manchester United.

Louis Saha joined Manchester United during the 2003-2004 season from Fulham. He went on to make 124 appearances for the Red Devils and scored 42 goals during the process. His Manchester United career was marred by frequent injuring denying him the opportunity to have a sustained run in the team. He left the club in 2008-2009 to sign for Everton. During his time with Manchester United, he won the Premier League twice, the League Cup as well as the Champions League
