SUAREZ MOVE?

The recent string of performances that Luis Suarez has managed to accomplish in this season has made a number of top European clubs take into consideration on making a move for the Uruguayan striker.

Some time ago Suarez was facing problems in Liverpool up until the point where the Premier League club was looking for a way to offload him and the player himself wanted to exit Liverpool but now things are taking a huge turn.

Suarez is topping the goal-scorer list of the Premier League and was even being named as the captain of Liverpool during the injury and absence of Steven Gerrard. Things are changing so dramatically that Suarez and Liverpool agreed on making a contract extension.

"I am delighted to have agreed a new deal with Liverpool and have my future secured for the long term. Without doubt the backing I have received from the Liverpool fans has influenced my decision. I am so proud to represent them and go out to do my best for them every time I pull on the shirt.

"We have a special relationship. They have love for me and in return I love them back. I will always do my best for them and hopefully we can achieve success together."
Brendan Rodgers praised the talent that Suarez has as he now considers the Uruguayan forward on being an indispensable presence in the main team.

"Luis is a world-class talent and securing his services is crucial for what we are trying to achieve here," Rodgers said.

With the amount of clubs that were considering on making a move for Suarez, it was a perfect moment for Liverpool to complete on making a 4 year contract extension although it is believed that Suarez has a buyout clause and if any non-Premier League club can match the price tag then Liverpool will seriously consider on offloading him but this will only happen if the price is right.
